Hi everyone...

I'm referring to IMM1344 question 7B, which asks for my UCI. I don't have a UCI, and putting "N/A" or "Not Applicable" doesn't work...it causes Adobe Reader to generate an error...what should I type then?

I leaved it blank and no error has popped out. It also validates the form successfully.

Are you the sponsor? As a PR or Citizen you should have a UCI. Otherwise, as polgas said leave it blank.

If you were ever a PR yes, but people born here do not have a UCI number.

Right...I myself moved to Canada from Indonesia, back in 1999, as a permanent resident (my dad was the principal applicant, and I was a dependant).

Now I'm looking at my record of landing, and I can't seem to find my UCI/client ID? I am aware that the format is 0000-0000, but I can't find anything like that on it.

On the top right is an ID that has such a format: BXXXXXXXXX (9 Xs in total, all numbers). Under that it says "[ KLT ]"

On the bottom right, it says WYYY YYY YYY (9 Ys in total, all numbers too, different from the ones on top left).

Thoughts...?

Just leave it blank, they will find the UCI, or give an entire new one for your spouse :)

There were no UCIs in 1999.

All naturalized citizens after 2002 should have UCI, this can be located on the COPR , before 2002 another form was used called IMM1000 which was the old landing record form, otherwise it can be left blank and CIC will find the details of you sponsor by using passport or citizenship card, or Permenant resident card details.
