Writing Citizenship test outside of Canada- 2025

Hello everyone,

I have an AOR of 5 November 2024, and my test is scheduled between January 24 and February 2024. I am currently outside of Canada and would like to know if I need to inform IRCC before writing the test, or if I can simply proceed.

I have thoroughly checked the email and reviewed the PDF instructions but couldn’t find any specific guidance about writing the test from outside Canada.

I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to proceed.

If the PDF does not provide any instructions for outside Canada test approval you can give the test whenever you ready.

I'm in the same situation. I just received the invitation and it's not mentioned in the email or PDF that we need to tell IRCC about taking the exam outside Canada.

Can you please tell what did you end up doing and did you get the Oath Ceremony al next steps soon or delayed in process ?

Hi, did you take your test outside of Canada, did IRCC had any questions about this after that? Is your oath ceremony completed?
