Worried....PR Card Not Yet Receive...

Can Somebody tells me or had an experience of delivering late PR cards?

My family and I landed last May 9, 2013 and its been 67 days now, we haven't receive the PR card.

I am a bit worried because we are outside Canada...

Can someone tells me where can I inquire regarding my PR Card? Or does it show the status on my ECAS?

Pls advise...tnx ???

as you are abroad you will not be able to contact them via phone as it only works when inside canada, you can try
to contact them via email (although as per the website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/ref-sponsor/section-contact.asp# - they mentioned the email is only for requesting an appointment)

I am hoping that you have given Canadian address for your PR card delivery. Most probably you will receive it in a week or two. In my case the PR card wait time was 59 days but i received it after 65 days. So dont worry, it will be on your way.

Current wait time for new PR card is 67 days. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-card.asp

My friend helped conference me and the Call Centre for PR Cards - delay. They asked me to resend the photos with correct specification and I got the PR card within a month from that.

Thats my experience.

so you mean your friend did 3 way call and it works? How long it takes for you to wait before you decide to call them to follow up your PR..tnx

I am also in the same situation. I completed landing formalities on 6th May 2013 and till now I have not received the card.
I am outside Canada and tried the call centre number but did not work.

However I have found the link (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/prcard-lost.asp)from one of my friend for the 545 application for re-issuing the card.

But I have the following queries before mailing this 545 application.
1) Can I courier it from outside Canada? Does this has any negative impact?
2) Is there any contact no/mailing address to contact CIC from outside Canada
3) If I call them through 3 way conference should I mention them that I am currently not in Canada?
4) In the 5451 form for the permanent address and phone number fields can I mention my tentative address(my friend's apartment) and my friend's phone number?

Seniors plz help out.

Hey, I just got a solution to this problem.
Thanks to Google

I tried it and got the confirmation that the card was just posted on 15th July So I should get it in a day or two.

Others whoever is facing issue in contacting CIC from outside Canada can try the same process.
It's as below...

1. Dial 1-613-944-4000
2. It' will say something about foreign Trade. Wait for the message to complete
3. Then it'll will give you the menu options
4. Press "2" for "Immigration or Citizenship or obtaining visas to Canada"
5. Then it' will redirect the call to Immigration department
6. A music will be played until someone picks up your call

I tried the same just sometime back one representative picked up the call (just 1 minute of wait time)
She asked my Client ID and other details and confirmed that the card was posted just yesterday and I may receive in couple of days.

Let me know whether you get a positive response or not.

Yes I called from Delhi, India.
