Hi
My story is bit complex. Please bear with me.
I came to Canada as a PR in 2018. Stayed here for 5 months and then went back to home country. I worked there in 2019, and 2020. I came back to Canada in 2021.
My CPA file 2019 and 2020 income tax in Canada as non resident and world wide income as 0. As a result, I got some tax credits ~ $600.
In 2021, I sponsored my wife and mentioned in the employment history that I worked in my home country for 2 years. But again, the world wide income was 0 for the those 2 years.
Now, I am applying for Canadian citizenship. They are asking for employment and I rightfully mentioned what I did and same was mentioned in my earlier Spousal PR application.
In Citizenship application, we give authorization to CRA to share data with IRCC.
Does this mean there could be some trouble with employment history out of Canada and yet the Worldwide income being 0?
