Working while waiting for PGWP

So now days all I am waiting for is MR and trying To find mistakes on which I can be rejected so few questions I have
1) after applying for PGWP I worked on off campus for 2 months till my PGWP arrived.I hope that
Experience will count.
2)I saw Capricorn application got rejected, my first job wages were not very good so I m little scared ?

I fear, only experience on Post Graduate work permit is counted.

But that's why thy tell to international student that you can work on off campus work permit till you PGWP arrives ..it takes 90 days for PGWP .. How that work exp wont be counted that doesn't make sense to me

Do you have 1 year on your PGWP?

Either way, don't worry about it...just see what the GCMS says.

Any period of employment during which the applicant was engaged in full-time study will not be included in calculating the period of qualifying work experience (e.g. work experience gained through co-op work permits,off-campus work permits while a full-time student[/b], and on-campus work permits.

Donot worry about job wages.Main concern are duties and responsibilities.You duties should match NOC.Cic is very strict about this.
Otherwise donot worry about wages.Wages will not effect your PR application

Based on a few rejections on this forum, eligible work for CEC starts after you receive your PGWP and not before. Eligibility day 1 is the day your PGWP is approved. Work done on off campus work permit will not count towards eligibility. There have been at least 4 people who have been rejected based on this in the past few months.
CIC call center agents are just that, call center agents. Some of them are not very knowledgeable and give you wrong info sometimes, from personal experience. Best way to get correct info is speaking to a tenured agent at their call centre, a lawyer or someone who has enough knowledge on CEC procedures.
If still concerned, read through some rejection threads on the forum.

I do part time work for immigration lawyers, we have had rejections coming in for off campus work count

this is not counted

keepit simple - pgwp day 1 work counts towards cec

My work exp is 4 July 2011 till 14 feb 2012 and 21 feb 2012 till 1October 2012 ..
My PGWP starts from29 sep 2011, if my first day counts, I will fall short of 6 days

u must have applied upon completion of CEC timeline, now that u have applied not sure CIO might send ur application back due to the shortage , or sometimes even if they provide u a file # .. file will be transferred to respective visa office - you can then send over updated Employment Reference letter to better support ur category
