Working holiday visa to FSW: do I need a temporary work permit?

Hi all

I am currently living in Canada on a working holiday visa and have 3 months left on it. My employer has offered me a permanent position and is currently applying for an LMO.

I plan on submitting my FSW application before my working holiday visa runs out. My question is: Do I still need to apply for a temporary work permit to continue working for the company after my working holiday visa runs out? Or does the submitted FSW application give me an implied status that allows me to continue working?

Thanks in advance

No - submitting the FSW application does not give you implied status. You will need to apply for a work permit if you wish to continue working.
