Working holiday visa and PR

Hey guys,

I have a valid working holiday visa and got my PR last week under FSW. I am outside of Canada for the moment and plan to land next month. Can I land with my working holiday visa and activate my PR later?

No reason why not assuming it’s still valid and you are visa exempt with a valid ETA. Assume you are just wanting to avoid having to do a soft landing and then have to get a PRTD.

Yes, I have to go to the US before getting my PR card, so it might be a solution.
