Worked more than twenty hours. Advise

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to apply for my PGWP. I have been reviewing my 2019 work hours and can't account for 4 times that I seem to have worked more than 40 hours (bi weekly). 2 of the times are 41.11/41.22 and the other 2 are 48&52 hours (all are bi weekly). I am still trying to find a justification for this just in case it was a break but am so freaked out.

Could you please advise me on how much trouble I am in? Any advise please

When did you work these hours. If during the school year, you went over the 20 hrs.

you clearly violated your study permit conditions
how can you not know that you worked 8 and 12 hours extra?
did it happen by accident?
for 20 hours why jeopardize your entire pgwp.

Thanks for the response. No, It sure wasn't intentional. I tried to be as careful as possible and only carry extra shifts during statutory holidays or school breaks.

Just because it's a statutory holiday doesn't mean you can take extra hours.

It is an SME. Am sorry I wouldn't be able to disclose the name here. But its a credible company

The best you can do is write a letter stating your mistakes while applying.

I was set to apply in January. Thank you, I will add the letter.

You should probably notify the employer too. They may not be aware of the rules. I doubt it will impact them but perhaps a letter from them would help? Good luck
