To renew a PR we have to be 2 yrs out of 5 in Canada.

Currently I have some more time to stay in Canada so that I can achieve this.

You can say I understay in Canada.

To renew PR CARD. You are a permanent resident . You are not under removal order, right?

But , yes, it is a tricky situation. Go to a consultant. Somebody helped you to get back to Canada , they can help you with this situation.

The only thing I know for sure - never lie about you marriage. Otherwise later it will turn around and bite you in your butt.

I am a Permanent Resident and not under removal order. But still I havent completed by Residency Obligations yet.

No I was not helped to get into Canada.I came only 4 months back.

The only thing I know for sure - never lie about you marriage. Otherwise later it will turn around and bite you in your butt.

I have not lied ,its only I have not informed them yet for the change.

Is it appropriate now,or I wait for renewal and then I inform them.

But i cant sponsor her right...and when we apply it ask if she has immediate relative in Canada.will it not be an issue.

Thanks for clarification.
Ignore Regina. Constantly providing bad advice and clearly can't understand the situation even though it is very simple.

No, you can't sponsor her until you meet the RO.

Yes, she will have to list you in the TRV app. This will have no effect on you.

My PR card has reached its expiry and I am waiting to complete my RO to apply for a new card.
What does it mean? Did you overstay out of Canada and now you in Canada but do not have your valid PR Card?
Because in normal circumstances PR Card and PR STATUS ARE NOT THE SAME.

Yea... do not know. Go to a consultant. Your case is too unique just for getting some advice on the forum.
Seriously, just stop. OP's situation is very simple to understand and you are just complicating it by asking pointless questions and providing misleading advice.

I didn't understand the topic and situation? Lol, that's hilarious. It's very clear from the previous posts that you were the one with the misunderstanding.

I have corrected you so many times on so many threads, as have other forum members. Why do you think you have a +55/-219 rating? Because everyone gets annoyed by you providing so mch bad advice.

Oh, and thanks for that negative vote you just gave me lol.

Guys...

Now I cant figure out..which is which :(
You must wait until you meet the RO to sponsor your wife.

She can apply for a TRV and must list you in her app. This will not have any effect on your PR status or cause CIC to investigate you.

Thx a lot Canuck.
Does the same logic applies if she request a work permit.

Yes, the same logic applies. However, she cannot apply for a work permit based on your status. In order to apply for a work permit, she must first find an employer in Canada willing to go through the LMIA and work permit process. This is very hard to do, as it requires the employer to meet strict requirements, pay $1000 and takes several months.
