Could you be more specific? What do you mean under RO obligations? Did you OVERSTAY in your home country? It means the PR card has reached its expiry date and I have not met my RO Obligations yet.

Ignore Regina. Constantly providing bad advice and clearly can't understand the situation even though it is very simple.Loyal2016 said:But i cant sponsor her right...and when we apply it ask if she has immediate relative in Canada.will it not be an issue.
Thanks for clarification.
Seriously, just stop. OP's situation is very simple to understand and you are just complicating it by asking pointless questions and providing misleading advice.Regina said:My PR card has reached its expiry and I am waiting to complete my RO to apply for a new card.
What does it mean? Did you overstay out of Canada and now you in Canada but do not have your valid PR Card?
Because in normal circumstances PR Card and PR STATUS ARE NOT THE SAME.
Yea... do not know. Go to a consultant. Your case is too unique just for getting some advice on the forum.
I didn't understand the topic and situation? Lol, that's hilarious. It's very clear from the previous posts that you were the one with the misunderstanding.Regina said:ignore canuck. Mostly he could not properly understand the topic. And advice without understanding the details of situation. It even did not notice I never advice you to sponsor you wife. Such an arrogant member.
You must wait until you meet the RO to sponsor your wife.Loyal2016 said:Guys...
Now I cant figure out..which is which
Yes, the same logic applies. However, she cannot apply for a work permit based on your status. In order to apply for a work permit, she must first find an employer in Canada willing to go through the LMIA and work permit process. This is very hard to do, as it requires the employer to meet strict requirements, pay $1000 and takes several months.Loyal2016 said:Thx a lot Canuck.
Does the same logic applies if she request a work permit.
