Work Verification Process?

Does anybody have idea or received calls regd....how will CIC does the verification process for work expereince? I have enclosed my present job details in the application? however I am worried now because once the current employer is alerted about my future immigration plans then I will be shown exit door next day itself.

Please anybody has idea who has received visa or in the processing?

They will call to the office and may contact to the person who visiting card is attached with the application or may contact to other person who may be at the higher post or may inquire about you from the person who will attend the call. they may ask following questions:-

1. Applicant's designation
2. Period spent in that designation
3. Job duties
4. Salary etc

Pak1..Thanks for the reply. I have a bussiness card of one of the managers who can provide my details and not disclose my future plans to the company CEO or HR but is there any chance of calling the company phone number instead of the managers number in the business card?

From different threads in this forum, people have seen CIC:

1. Calling their office to verify
2. Calling applicants to ask questions
3. Calling the boss whose card was attached
4. Visiting office without notice then conducting instant interview without applicant and boss independently.

Let's bear in mind that how, when, place of and length of interview can only be determined by CIC. Hence be prepared.

do they call b4 after medical? They can conduct verification at any time the IO/VO has any doubt or they are trying to check the integrity of the programme. Verification calls has been made for some people after medicals however it is more common to do it before medicals.
