See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp.aspsusan18 said:It's an open work permit. I apply for H&C grounds and my application was approved and the letter state that if you wish to apply for study or work permit you may apply. I apply for the OWP the beginning of January this year
sorry i am kinda of confused, when we submit OWP and PR together for sponsorship, we will get OWP in less than a few months?susan18 said:Thanks much now I feel better. I always thought a work permit is only valid for a year or to the time they think your application should be finnalize.
No. You will get the OWP if you receive Approval in Principle which takes about 11 months. And you can only apply for an OWP if you are applying via the In Canada Class spousal sponsorship route. I don't understand the last part of your question. International or domestic what?jbel said:sorry i am kinda of confused, when we submit OWP and PR together for sponsorship, we will get OWP in less than a few months?
i have already sent both. how about if i now send a letter of offer to apply a student permit, how long it will takes to approve? will i be considered a international or domestic?
