If I stop working on the day my work permit expires, is it possible for me to restore my status as a worker within 90 days after my permit expires if I get my ITA and my application for PR is completed?

Already answered in your other thread - no, not possible. You must be holding a valid work permit at the time you apply for a BOWP.

To restore status, you need a valid visa for a BOWP. It is right in the link. You can’t extend a PGWP.

I understand that I can't extend my PGWP and I need a valid work permit for BOWP. But my question is not for BOWP, it's for restoring status as a open work permit? Please see the below link.

You would need to meet the requirements to restore your status to an open work permit. Do you meet any of these requirements?

Do you have a spouse who is in Canada on a work permit and is in an NOC A, B or 0 job?
Do you have a spouse who is in Canada on a study permit and who is studying full time at a DLI?
Something else?

Please read “who can apply” in your link. You don’t have an employer specific work permit nor will you have a valid permit. “If you have an open work permit, you may be able to extend it as long as you’re still eligible to work in Canada with an open work permit.” When your permit expires, you aren’t eligible to work.
