Work permit timeline after medicals.seniors pls advise

I have applied for work permit in aug 2017 and gott medicals in nov, after submiting my medicals have got any information from NDVO,

Its been 4 week since meds submitted.


Any suggetion would be really appreciated..

Same - submitted medical end October. My legal representatives followed up and here’s the reply:

All applications for temporary/permanent residence in Canada are subject to statutory requirements, including background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted temporary/permanent resident status. We are currently conducting certain background investigations.

According to my legal rep - current processing time for a Work Permit application that is pending in the United Arab Emirates Canadian Embassy office is 22 weeks.

My online work permit submitted by canadian employer with positive Lima.

Applied aug 14th

Got meds on nov 17 , submitted 20. Its been six weks after meds submitted.


No updates till now.

Ru applied for wp , noc. Pls share ur timeline.

Heard its been a long festive holidays for 2 weeks. Office resumed from jan 2.
