Can i apply for a open work permit from within Canada, if i have a TRV?
My spouse is holding a closed work permit

Then you're eligible to apply for an open work permit provided you meet other requirements .and you can do that within Canada .you can do it online or just do a flagpoling .

I want to make some enquiries from your organization to know which program to go for.

If someone recently submitted for TRV-WP and waiting for biometric and also interested in AIPP/PNP.

I have the following questions to ask.


1) After online submission for TRV-work, why does it take 6 months plus before getting letter for biometric and also after biometric has been done, over 5 months now applicant has not been contacted for passport submission. Why the delay?

If I may ask, Is it Normal?


2) Must I have IELTS and ECA before starting AIPP/PNP process?

3) Can I get a job offer before IELTS and ECA?

4) Submitting another application for PR through AIPP/PNP, won't it be like double entering/submission or look like someone desperate and can it lead to disqualification.

5) Is it necessary for your spouse to also write IELTS or have ECA to boost point in AIPP/PNP?

6) Is the submission paper or online?
