work permit refusal

hello friends
i like this forum and it s very useful..i thank every one for their share.
My workpermit got rejected recently for not demonstrating ties with the country of residence{india} and not well established in the country of residence..rest all good..
I have only my mother and grandmother in my family..as my father passed away when i was at school..
i havent shown any assets when i applied work permit,thogh i have an agricultural land and home..but all documents are in my granny's name.
now i m trying to change it in my name and show that to the officer to reapply..
I am here to know what are the possibilities and reasons i could add in the cover letter to satisfy the officer that i would come back 2 india..
if anyone had the same problem and got it right on second time,,pls share and help me..
how often i can reapply after rejection? my LMO is valid for 2 more months only..

now my concern is to type a cover letter which would satisfy the officers 100% that i would leave canada..
there is nothing wrong with the lmo or job related documents..so i cant ask my employer to help me..
does the employer could do anything in my case?

Hi i think you dont need to show your asset to get work permit.
your employer is willing to write a cover letter? as long as you are working here, they dont ask your account balance either.
cover letter have to include job descritions, hours, salary, holiday....etc.

Hi Vhronvhin,

Your application processing time will be extended because the Canadian Embassy your applying to may require you to have medical clearance or further studies first from a DMP/Specialist before they decide on your application. But once you're cleared and everything's fine, then you're a-ok on the medical standpoint.

Thank you for the advice..Actually my DMP texted me already for
another view of my xray and today, I'm done with lordotic xray...and as
i searched, this kind of test doesn't have a connection with my levoscoliosis
and it's about other view to check for abnormal densities in the lung.

I hope everything will be ok after the xray., because i didn't have any pulmonary or
tb medical history/

Hi! Im from philippines. My work permit application was also refused due to family ties in Canada, limited job opportunities in my country of residence, and personal assets and finances. I got the letter last November 21 and it really saddened me because they came up with a decision without even giving me a chance to explain my part about not staying in Canada after the duration of my contract. I thought it was a dead end already. However, my employer gave me a little hope by saying that he would make an appeal about my case. He needs to gather necessary information and would ask for the reconsideration of my application. Maybe you could also ask your employer to do the same thing... Good luck to both of us!

Refusals! You can never tell what they want to hear or see in your application. If you show that you have connections in Canada they pull the "won't leave Canada at the end of visa", even though you would NEVER stay illegally. It makes perfect sense that you would benefit from having friends/family in Canada to aid your integration during the term of your work permit. If you show that you have finances/real estate in your home country, they can say "funds can be transferred and property sold or walked away from". Showing ties to your home country??? Sorry to say, but I don't think there is a fool proof formula for this at all. It is a shame there isn't some way to post a bond that you would lose if you did not leave as soon as the visa was finished.

i m very happy..i got the work permit..cant express how much happy i am .
for every1 it ll b the happiest moment getting a psitive result after the negative
waiting 4 the medical
