Hi,

You mentioned in a post on April 11 last year that "I just flagpolled somebody somebody for work permit last week and We finished in one hour. That is another option if you are near the border ".

Request you to explain this sentence:
  1. Was the work permit application processed in an hour?
  2. Was this for a fresh work-permit application or an extension/renewal?
Basically I am trying to figure out the fastest way to get a work-permit if I have an employment offer. I do not have a work-permit. I do have a canada visitor visa.

Can I travel to seattle (on a US visa) , drive to canada and get the (new) work-permit processed at the border quickly?

Thanks in advance.
