Open an account in GCkey:

In the GCKey account click how you want to come to Canada. On the next page, click for work, Less than 6 months, and then you'll find Refugee after that follow the steps. There are a lot of questions about being eligible for the work permit. Answer all the questions (All are yes/No). Finally, you need to upload your previous work permit copy, passport copy, and form imm5710e. It's downloadable and fillable. Complete and upload the form. Then submit.
One more thing, After you get your work permit, remember to renew your SIN.

After that, you open an account here to check the status:

** You will receive your new work permit by mail **

what if i selected more than 6 months, will it create an issue because i am really confused.
You mentioned passport copy, but passport gets siezed by CBSA when you apply for refugee,. I think you have to use the refugee claimant document to apply for work permit extension or get RTD
Yes, the passport gets seized by CBSA when you apply for refugee, but they provide a photocopy of that passport. However, you need to upload a copy of your refugee claimant document, too. It's all about scanned copies.
Yes they do give you scanned copies but if they are expired passports then you got no option but to use the claimant document or apply for RTD but the claimant document is enough i think
Hello, it asked about a few documents, in the document about imm5710e, it mentioned our current employer for myself and my family. However, my family is not employed, and only I am employed. How will I be able to fill that part in?
It also asks if we have done our medical exam in the last 12 months, what would I answer?

In which section they asked for "family "?
Medical: If you have done any medical then 'yes'. If not, then 'no'.
Both, just because you are protected person doesnt mean you can work without work permit. So you need to apply for work permit and PR too.
