Work permit extension timeline May 2023

I have applied my work permit extension through regular process on May 8, 2023. After that I haven’t received any update.

does anyone received their work permit extension through regular process?

No, I haven’t received any update yet. I submitted couple of web requests as well as also applied for gmsc notes. I am thinking of waiting until my timeline of 141 days then I will call to IRCC to follow up.

anyone knows if it is still possible to get a new work permit through flag polling? I heard that flag polling process is halted for PGWP and work permit extensions.

My brother is applied on 28th May but didn’t get any response yet and also his gckey is revoked and we are unable to link application with new GCKEY anybody have any idea?

You should able to link. You might not entering correct information. Just try using different ways. If still not work then I believe you need to submit web form.

Did you also request to IRCC to provide you a new letter after 120 days of your application to provide to your employer? I have just started my new job and they are asking an update letter as mine is going to expire on 29th of this month.

No, because my work permit expired on 28th October and I don’t think you need additional letter as I believe original letter state that particular date or until decision is made.

No, because my work permit expired on 28th October and I don’t think you need additional letter as I believe original letter state that particular date or until decision is made.

I did speak with an agent weeks ago with a similar problem and they sent me an email which implied my application was still in process so i showed that to icbc. you can actually try that.. though getting to speak to them these days is like a needle in a hay sac
