Work permit extension timeline May 2023

I have applied for WP extension on 28th May 2023 and still haven't got any updates as of yet. My current permit will expire on 30th Sept 2023. Does anyone got any response who applied around this time?

Update: I checked my IRCC account and my application has changed to Approved Status.

Timeline SOWP extension inside canada:
Applied: May 26, 2023
Received Biometric Correspondence letter: October 03, 2023
Application approved: 04 October, 2023

Husbands work permit was refused after applying under a new public policy which allowed for an 18 month extension for all OWP holders

Sorry to hear that but could you please tell me the reason for the refusal.

No, because my work permit expired on 28th October and I don’t think you need additional letter as I believe original letter state that particular date or until decision is made.

What if the particular date is expired. Can I still work. What I do in this case.
