Work Permit Expiry Date

Hi all,

My WP mentions expiry date as Dec 21, 2021.

So today December 21, 2021 at around 1PM Vancouver /4pm Toronto/ 5pm Sydney(Nova Scotia) time, my work permit document is already saying it expired.

I applied for another work permit anyways, and got submission confirmation as well. I hope visa officers see the date.

I know CIC/IRCC sometimes show UTC/UK/Greenwich time, but even that would be 9PM 21 Dec 2021.

I am really confused and concerned.

Hi! I am in the same both. I applied on the same date of expiry. What happened after? Did you have to do restoration or was your extension before the expiry approved? Please help!
