Work permit expiring (URGENT)

Hello All,

I applied for PR (CEC) a month ago i.e. April 2nd and expected to receive my AOR by May 14th as per recent trend. My work permit is expiring on May 20th so I don't have enough time to wait around for AOR to apply BOWP, so can someone please guide me what options do I have? I was thinking to apply for BOWP without the AOR and attach a letter with my application about forwarding my AOR as soon as I receive it. Now I am confused whats the best way to go through with it - Apply online or Mail it to CIC. If anyone can please help me regarding my situation I will really appreciate it. Thanks.

Bowp are two requirments first is Aor. u can call directelly to cic.

Most importantly you should send your application right away (LIKE IMMEDIATELY!!!). Your WP has to be valid at the time when it's received at Vegreville office or when submitted online!! I don't think so there is any reason you should be waiting anymore

Hmm, i would suggest that you submit BOWP around 24th when your AOR arrive. But if you can't wait any longer, then submit BOWP without it, but remember to have a explanation letter with your application. Once your BOWP is submitted, you could stay until your BOWP application have a decision.

I would wait till you receive your AOR.
I've read some threads here where people have received OWP without AOR.
I am not sure if you want to take the chance especially, knowing that you'd get your AOR in mid May.
You have a week to apply for OWP online.

In my case, the expiry date on my old WP was on March 26. I waited for my AOR to come in and applied online on March 18 with AOR.

Well thats why I wanna send a paper application because I know by the time they process it I will definitely have my AOR. Btw did you get a positive response on your BOWP??
