I’m in similar situation. My work permit was expired on 3rd Jan2024. I’ve applied for LMiA so based upon applied status, I’ve applied for close work permit plus restoration. Because LMIa results were delayed.
They rejected it and send me letter of leaving country.
i left the country and applied for Visitor visa from my home country.
Meanwhile I received ITA under CEC draw.
My visitor visa has not been issued still after 3 months.
I’m waiting for my PR application to be approved now.
Do you think will it be any issue with PR application because of this situation?
