Hello,
I am a German citizen who wants to travel to Canada (Quebec) for work (research at a university for my master's in Germany).
Since I want to leave next week, I will apply for a work permit at the port of entry (PoE).
First I was under the impression that I can only apply at the PoE if I won't stay longer than 6 months.
However if I check my eligibility at < https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/come-canada-tool.html >, it tells me that I won't need a visitor visa even if I want to stay between 6 months and one year (result: Foreign Worker - International Mobility Program (No Visitor's Visa required, Quebec))

- Do I need to bring additional documents other than:
- Offer of employment number
- CV
- study record (proof for requirements)
- IMM 1295 (application for WP outside Canada) + Family Information Form
- work contract
- Can I stay in Canada longer than 6 months (my job offer spans 6 months and 1 week)
