WORK PERMIT APPLICATIONS WITH LMIA IN INDIA

Hi friends,

I need your help immediate. I paid some money to broker (Agent) for job in Canada. Money paid on end of August-2014. He explained the procedure of TWP Canada ( First advertisement, 2nd LMO application, 3rd positive or negative LMO, 4th Visa application ). Then he also mentioned this process can take maximum 6 months and said he transferred the money to Canada what he got from me.

From September until now in between this time he said my LMO was applied and in process ( I haven't note down the date he mentioned around oct. 2014).

Starting from October almost 4 months whenever I call him he says no update and LMO in progress. He says he want to speak to the employer in Canada but he not giving any update on this process.

How to check LMO was really applied and in process? Any proof shows application for LMO?

Please help me on this issue!!!

which province of Canada you applied for LMIA.. Which is your occupation and noc.? You can directly contact to your employer to know updates.. I know some guys here are waiting for their LMIA for the past 3,4 months. Is your consultant genuine?

1. You can probably "kiss" your money good bye. If you have no idea who the employer is, then it is probably a scam.

My husband is WP and mine is SOWP. We applied thru online application.

Latest update from my employer is that SC sad asked some questions about the job postings and they had replied to them on 9 Feb and our lawyer is hoping that we will get a response from SC in a week or two .

Help friends new processing time for work permit has been updated .. Chandigarh office processing time has been increased once again . Now it takes four months to process in Chandigarh. In Delhi office processing time is 2 months
