I got confirmation that my Work Permit is approved in NY Consulate and waiting for docs from my employer. App ship date 12/14. approval date 2/28. ;D

So it means it took 2 months (less 2 days) for you, its a guesstimate...
When did you receive the mail that application is approved?

I received it on 1st march. Yes, I complete 2 months this 7th march - but I havent received my passport till now Good luck to all of you !

Does any one know how long the new york consulate takes to send the passport after the approval email ? I submitted a usps express mail return envelope . Any news, itzme ?

today I got an e-mail that work permit has been approved... ;D so glad though strange NY working on weekend.. lol...!!!

Cherrynoir, any news on your passport being back. I used USPS too.
