@ mocha, hi (kabayan, i presumed), regarding your post on police clearance, i just want to ask, after receiving the letter from embassy, DO I REALLY NEED TO GO TO MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS FOR THE STAMP? And have you also submitted NBI clearance with your application? i am also scheduled to picked up the endorsement letter from the embassy and i just want to know the next step.i will truly appreciate your kind help.thanks

Hello, yup it's a must to have a stamp from ministry of foreign affairs in order to be valid. The criminal investigation division will not accept ur endorsement letter w/o stamp. It takes only 10 mins in ministry and u can go ryt away to batha. U need to wait 3 days before they release ur police clearance there. Yup, ive submitted my nbi clearance ive got from d phil. Wen i wen on vacation last dec. They said it shud be 2 months to be valid but in the nbi result d validity is 1 year so i still submitted it, just wanna try. God's grace dat they didnt return. Hopefully there will be no problems in the future. Goodluck to all of us. Any question, try to ask here in the forum, ive gathered all my documents thru d guide of other pipol here.

D endorsement letter can be obtained from d phil. Embassy and not the canadian embassy. U will just pay 100sr there. Un ministry 30sr, in batha free.

@ hasho, i processed it on my own. im still waiting for my lmo and as i read from cic web that police clearance will be required so ive already applied one. just gathering the required documents in advance.

I think its not in the check list that you have to submit your police clearance certificate to gather with your application. In my case the Canadian Embassy ask me to submit the police clearance certificate and they send a request letter for Ministry of Foreign Affairs KSA and I got stamped on that letter and then go CID to get my police clearance certificate. Do'nt get your PCC before the Embassy ask you to submit.

it's in d checklist dat u have to include ur police clearance. Definitely they will ask you to send it maybe they will allow u not to submit now but they will ask u later on for sure. I read in some forum dat the canadian embassy returned their application because of the missing NBI and police clearance,i just read dat in a forum. Then another point is better to complete ur dox before submitting or else u will pay again the courier wen they will ask u to submit the missing dox written in the checklist. But it's up to u if u will wait for them to ask u,it's just my opinion and suggestion. . i dnt know wer is d cid in jeddah,im sorry.

@hasho, i definitely agree with @mocha since i read it also here in the forum. im considering the time /effort so in order to minimize it ill just have to gather the required documents as early as possible.thanks anyways

@mocha, yeah youre right that is why i kept on reading on the previuos post here in the forum, hoping i could get some more info/docs required so i can submit the package complete. but i hope my lmo will come soon. thanks

@Vich25, actualy i really appreciate d value of this forum because before i completely gathered all my dox, i was at nowhere. As in i dont know what documents are needed and where shall i go, but then i found this site so useful because the experiences of those hu applied ahead cud be our guide for the do's and donts.

yeah, maybe im just 1 step away from you coz i submitted my application last may 20 only and i know the hassle cause by preparation of all the documents, seems so stressful to think how can we finish those requirements but really, let's just do it one by one and always think dat others they've made it, so we can do the same. and dont waste ur tym thinking only what to start, as much as possible, everyday u try to accomplish at least one requirement then 1 day,u will go to aramex for sending ur documents...so, gudluck everyone and pray harder!

hello guys, i just wanna ask about the iqama copy that u'v submitted, is it translated to english?or the plain copy is enough?and also, i got my medical request today and it's written there to bring any medical reports or results from previous or existing medical condition, what if i dont have any since the last tym i made my medical was 5 years ago for my iqama application. is it realy necessary to submit any medical reports?pls i need ur reply for those hu undergone medical portion already. THANK YOU

I called d dr. Already and he said d medical report is not necessary unless there is existing illness or history. Thanks LianCru, hopefully there will be no problem anymore. How bout urs?how is it?
