Still dont have any messages coming from the embassy last week.

I got my mobile activated again to anticipate any sms coming from canadavisa.

Hope and pray that this week, mine gets finalized as my application will be 3 months tomorrow

Guys suddenly the Forum looks very silent.
Just to update you all on my status is I had requested back my passports today from the embassy to process my Iqama. Tomorrow I will get my paspsorts as they have alredy couriered it today.
By 20th Feb I will send them back my passports for further processing.
Seeing my waiting time I feel like I have applied for PR and not TWP

Repeating my question. Please answer, any one. are we required to get a NOC letter from our KAFEEL? Does embassy asks for it?

For TWP Generally the Embassy doesnt ask for NOC Letter for the Police.
If they want to ask then I think they will intimate you to get the same and will issue you a request letter for the same. I didnt submit any and also Ismail didnt submit as well.

For TWP applicants in KSA, police clearance rather than NOC is requested as an option in a latter date.

Thanks for your response first. Secondly, if you are returning back to saudia for work, do you take NOC before you leave or after you come back to saudia. But for TWP NOC is not required from you KAFEEL. That is clear RIGHT?

I dont know about you guys so frustrated for waiting for VISA, i emailed the canadian embassy in saudi its says 26 weeks to wait for the visa, why you guys dont wait for your 26 weeks then thats is the time you guys have to frustrate and complaint, its normal to wait up to 26 weeks, i think if you guys in the Philippines, you guys will be so frustrated to wait because it takes time to wait there. Just relax and be busy to your job and maybe someday you guys will be shock that your visa is already mailed to you for those got their visa early they are lucky, if those doesnt have the visa yet and is still the 26 weeks of time frame, just relax, just a piece of advice guys ok? dont be angry to my coments, i have been waiting for 13 months in the Philippines so i know your feeling guys, i have waited for too long for what you guys waiting right now, i dont have job i just make my self busy even though i dont know what should i do lol, i just relax and one day i received that visa that i never expected that will come on that day anyway i just advice what the best thing to do ok? And here is the replied of the canadian embassy to me

This acknowledges receipt of your email. All applications must await
clearance from our central administration. Applications must be submitted
at least; 30 days for visitors (TRV), 8 to 10 weeks for students and 26
weeks for workers. Status Inquiries within this time period can't be
answered. Inquiries sent by E-mail or FAX after this time will be replied
to. Visit the Visa and Immigration section of www.saudiarabia.gc.ca or
www.cic.gc.ca.

I just wanna ask you guys, is there anyone here have had an interview in canadian embassy in saudi before? I have friend of mine, he is a LCP applicant, he passed his application on august 2012 then he got called last week for interview, is there anyone here have an idea why they have to interview him and the questions will be ask? Do you guys think he will have his visa right away after his interview? Thanks

with all due respect we all have jobs here and we have certain liabilities to fulfill. It is not about being busy, it is about keeping everything in line so one thing does not conflict with other. The time frame is different for different applications in different countries. And if you are satisfied, it might be ok with us but you want us to wait 26 week, made no sense to me. I am not being angry but could not agree with this thought of yous that since in Philippines people have to wait 26 weeks, we should do the same. I would strongly advise you come in here, since you don't seems to be in hurry to be in Canada and go through all the hurdles that we had to. Meaning dealing with you sponsoror, Iqama, Iqama renewal, passport, passport renewal, sponsoror not cooperating with you, not being able to get the documents on time and the dead lines that you have already given to your current employers. I wish you good luck and would expect you being a little more reasonable next time you address us.

The question you posted shows a little frustration just like us. Why don't you wait and see what happens. Your question contradicts your thoughts about us. But joking apart, the answer to your question according to my knowledge is that your application is totally dependent on the discretion of the officer, he could could do this, or that or both. We can say it is not normal, but one should except this kind of things from embassy and especially from immigration department. Good luck to your friend.

For what i am saying you guys just stressing your self! I am just saying to relax because you cant you do anything to make your paper fast. I know you guy have lots of thing to do there thats why you guys have to go out to that country. About the 26 weeks that i was saying COULD YOU PLEASE READ MY POST CAREFULLY???? I said if you are in the Philippines you have wait more than 26 weeks!

26 weeks is the processing in saudi right now, not in the Philippines, its says on the processing time on cic site as well on the reply of the canadian embassy in saudi! Why you dont email them about your papers so you will know how long you have to wait? Or just read the reply of canadian embassy to me on my post?? That email is from canadian embassy in SAUDI not in PHILIPPINES.
