Could you help me regarding to my question, if i already have a Labour Market Opinion (LMO) and my Employment Contract, but my problem is my present company now doesn't allow to take my original passport, is it possible that ill just provide a photocopy of my valid passport along with my residence visa, and what other documents do i need to submit. i am a Filipino citizen that currently working in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for One year.

Yes dear you just need to enclose, ur passport copies of the pages which contains all you information(I would prefer a colored xerox copy),
Copy of your Saudi Visa stamped in your passport, your valid Iqama copy.
Also you need to enclose a cover letter addressing to the Embassy saying that, "Currently my passports are with my Employer so I have enclosed copies of the same. I will submit my passports After I get an intimation from the Embassy."

This will do for the moment.

the occupation you are applying for TWP is warehouse worker..
so if i can submit a photo copy of my valid passport and iqama. and what other documents do i need to submit.
do i need to go and get a medical certificate again. thank you sir.. im so confused right now.. pls advice me what o do.

The list of documents are as follows,

1) Copy of passports bia data pages, Saudi Visa and Iqama.
2) LMO Copy
3) Application check list
4) Application for work permit outside Canada form
5) Family information form
6) Supplementary form
7) Copy of Canada Employment Certificate
8) Current and previous employment certificates ( joining letters, confirmations letters, salary slips, experience letters). These documents should show the officer that you have the required experience is the Job title mentioned in the LMO
9) letters of appreciation etc (optional)
10) Try to get a cover letter from your Employer in Canada addressing to the Visa officer and stating that why you are eligible and why they want to recruit you.
11) Education proofs.
12) Enclose a cover letter addressing to the Embassy saying that, "Currently my passports are with my Employer so I have enclosed copies of the same. I will submit my passports After I get an intimation from the Embassy."

Any other documents that you feel important.

Try to include as much documents as possible. The more the documents you include, the more your chances of getting the visa increases.

Regarding medicals, I think the Embassy will intimate you if they need medical certificate from you.
You cant do it before hand.

Though basing on the CIC-Riyadh checklist, they will not give you a reminder to send your passport so my opinion is that make an estimate for the processing time here in Riyadh. When you are near the decision date (6 weeks) then use that date in your cover letter to submit your passport.

Again, the best option would be to make a good reason with your company so they could lend your passport. What will happen is they will take your iqama, give you a valid copy of it and you have your passport (this is what I did).

Just my 2 cents....

so how about when the embassy call you and asking now for your original passport what will i do? the problem i cannot get my passport. if it possible that ill exit in saudi the submit my original passport to the embassy in ph my country of origin. thanks

No it is not possible.

The passports has to be submitted where you have processed your application.

Take a long vacation (2 months) and then go to Philippines and process your complete TWP. Get ur visa there and then travel back to Saudi, resign and go to Canada.

or

Process your application from Riyadh Embassy. And when the intimation comes to submit your passports, take a vacation from your company, submit your passports to the Riyadh Embassy, Generally after the intimation it takes 1-2 weeks to stamp the visa and get ur passports back.
Its a bit risky but you can give it a try.

Dear Mr. Yabitoh,

Basing on the information in CIC-Riyadh Checklist, The Embassy will not remind you to send your passport. You have to state in your cover letter the date on when you will send your passport to them or else they may end up deciding to return your application to you.

1st option - Visa processing in the Philippines: I wish to add up that TWP processing in the Philippines may take an average of 3 months. If you can take long vacation then yes this is possible and would suggest to get the police clearance in Riyadh now to anticipate submission of NBI and Police clearance (Riyadh).

2nd option - Visa processing in KSA: Average processing time should be 6 to 8 weeks. Even though this is written in the website, we still dont know how each application are assess. Best way is to give any valid reason to ask your passport to your company.

As for me, I told my employer that I need to renew my passport.

i dont have it yet but may aunt already told my be she can get it this week with my job contract for a warehouse worker from my employer . that why im asking any advice what i will do. because im so confused what to do. sometimes im thinking to resign to my work here in saudi. because maybe my company they will not let me have my passport. if there still a chance that i cannot get a TWP even i have a possitve LMO , job contract and a letter from my employer.

My piece of advise is keep calm and pray for a positive LMO and DO NOT resign not until you have the TWP visa stamped on your passport.
Most of the employer here in KSA are reasonable; you have to try first to see if your reason will work.

Again there are advantages here when you apply for TWP compared to Philippines.

Don't worry, there are a lot of members here who are willing to give their share of experiences in the application process.

Just keep on asking.

JB is right.

Every LMO has a minimum of 6 months of validity.
So we should do baby steps.
Let the LMO come. then we can decide what would be the best option for you.
