I already visit and read the site for many times but I did not focus reading about getting a work permit since my concern is to apply as immigrant. When I saw this thread I thought this would help me apply on a different way but i think you did not understand what I'm asking.. and for sure that most of the people registered here had visited CIC and ended here to this forum to seek help, advices.Please.. you don't need to throw CIC website at them when you immediately saw the question "How to apply".. you need to understand it first...

i think pinkulots didnt mean to be rude, what i mean is she is also new here in this forum so do I, so some of us now are trying all our best to help each other, what she does is what she think will be helpful to you and to others who are seeking for enligthenment on appying to canada, but I could give you some advice even if im also new here in this forum,What i think the best way to go to canada is to look for an employer online or hire an immigration consultant to assist you througout your application in canada till you get there like what i do. well like i have said, i hired an immigration consultant, they are the ones who look for employer for me, they will guide me through the application process until i arrive in canada, but it requires fees for their service..well you have to be patient, because applying online and seeking for an employer is really hard, I just wish you luck that you may find a prospective employer soon, godbless

Hi! I submitted last November 3, 2013 too, finished my medical and police clearance but no feedback from the Visa Office yet.

We submitted WP Application on same day through VAC as well, however my job title is diff. I'm in construction design field. On 7th Nov. 2013 I got request for police certificates (KSA & India). I submitted these docs on 19th Nov. 2013 & still waiting to here something from them.....
On which date did you submit your extra docs?
Just share if you have any updates.

But the since im here at riyadh saudi, ksa the employer ask me if the processing of requirements/documents for working visa is fast here at riyadh,saudi? Right now, i dont know where to start.. -i didn't mean anything bad by posting the cic website. I'm also new here but i did all the reading on the cic site about work permit application before i found this forum and as far as i know i found every detail and all the answers to my questions in the site as a new applicant and aspirant to come to canada. You said you didnt focused on how to apply for the work permit, well then the cic site will give you a great help regarding that as it did to me. If you find it rude i didnt mean it.

-the very first step is for you find an employer.

-i found mine online. If you are a nurse you can try the site where i found mine. www.canadiannanny.ca

This is for outside Canada based on your current city Riyadh. It says 5 Months as an average based on the completed applications processed (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp/workers.asp)

yes tpos nako sis, thanks god ok naman results.. it can be pdf,jpg,tiff,png,doc ar docx.. as long na 4mb ang size of each file sis

Hi Sis! How long did you wait till ur LMO arrirve? I got a prospective employer that will sponsor me for live-in caregiver program.
but apparently I am still waiting for my LMO. Up to this time she has to put up another online ad because her previous ad was incomplete. No room and board fee included. This agony of waiting is killing me everyday.

-i haven't recieve my LMO yet. my employer got an email for the reapplication last jan.24 using the new LMO application form. So were just about in the second week. And I haven't recieve an email yet from my employer if she already got an AOR from the service canada.
Waiting is the most painful part...
