Hi! By the way I am Jenog. I am newbie member of this forum.

Here is my timeline:

Submit applications @ VSF Global AUH : Feb. 19, 2014
JobTitle : NOC 6622 - Order Filler/Shelf Stocker
Received Confirmation: Same date as above

Note: I already obtained a temporary work visa in Canada wayback 2009 issued @ Canadian embassy Manila but the sad thing is I did not able to land in Canada because my employer advise our partner Phil. local agency to hold our deployment until decisions fall to withdrawal due to global recessions during that time.

My visa was cancelled without prejudice stamped remarks.

Is there anyone who can give advise on this. if this additional points or negative. I am applying the same category like before but different employer.

Please advise.

Thanks,

jenog

Hi Jenog - It will not affect at all in any future decisions on your Work Permit/TRV Application. What you have received at the CAD-Embassy in Manila was the Approval Letter (not the Work Permit) and your Temporary Resident Visa (Visa Label/Counterfoil). Work Permit will only be issued upon Entry at the Immigration Counter at the Port of Entry.

hi all can anybody tel me once i reach canada is there any interview? what will they ask? please help me my flight will be this coming sunday and i dont know f theres still an interview

It depends on the Immigration Officer. But standard questions will be the following:
- Name of the Employer
- Address of the Employer
- Length of Employment
**they will ask for the Letter of Approval (Work Permit/Study Permit) & Employment Contract/Letter and your passport

Any update guys? Lately, seems to be quiet...

That is actually normal for UAE companies. You have to ensure you get a clearance however when you left.
Keep that with you for future reference when you need to file your Police Clearance if you need to go to the PR route.

Normal processing time in Abu Dhabi is 7 months. So nothing really you can do than wait.

It will not affect processing time as per my experience.I went home twice during the process(Iam doing 60/30 leave cycle). Regarding change of address Im not sure.I believe if CIC request PPR you can visit UAE and submit passport.Try call VFS abudhabi and inquire regarding this.
