its frustrating , we have almost entered 9th month

Yah, what happened to the embassy before its 6 months processing and they shift it to 8 months, but some of the applicants from march still did not recieve any news from them, any idea guys? Big season is coming next month again our application will be delayed again :(

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry. We apologize for the delayed response.

We are currently experiencing a backlog in processing of temporary foreign worker (TFW) applications.

We are unable to accurately predict at this time how long applications will take to process; however, we estimate8-10 months for this category.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Again and again. This is their reply today. My application is now officially 8months today. I can't believe that this is happening.

Hi,

God is really Good..

My visa was approved last Oct.28 :) :) :)

Timeline:

April 10,2013-sent my application to CEM Abu Dhabi
Sept. 17,2013-PPR but for some reason I just sent it last Oct. 24,2013
Nov.5,2013- got my visa stamped on my passport..

NOC 6421

I was working in Dubai before and decided to resigned and come back in the Philippines last Aug.

What I did is, when I receive the PPR, I went in RAF international since they can send my passport to CEM Abu Dhabi using Aramex courier, it is located in Oyster Industrial Complex, NAIA avenue, San Dioniso,
Paranaque City..
And now I am preparing to get my OEC from POEA..
OEC total fee including POEA, OWWA, PhilHealth- 6,6++ pesos..
Need to undergo PDOS first..

Hope all of you will receive your visa so soon..

Mam in applying OEC from POEA what other documents they need? and how many days is the processing time before you undergo pDOS?thank you and congrats...

Thanks,

Anyway,
Here are the lists of documents you have to bring with you when applying OEC..

LMO
Job Contract, Job Offer
Addendum
Letter from Canadian Embassy stating that your work permit is approve..
2 copies each, passport front and last page and your visa
Long Folder
Once your documents was verified in step 1 procedure, they will send you to OWWA to get PDOS schedule
Take note PDOS for Canada is usually morning 9-11am
I already got the schedule but I have not yet attended the PDOS..
I heard that after PDOS you can go to step 2 procedure then step 3 for the payment,
Once you paid the fee, you will get your OEC instantly..

Hope it helps..

@antipatika, the same date i passed my appliction but till now i did not heared any news even PPR from them. Best of luck. God bless
