guys from UAE who already received a passport request, how much did you pay for ARAMEX? and how long it takes to get back your passport?

According to my friend who is working now in Aramex it will cost less than 200 dhs you will pay. Also, i have a friend who submitted her passport before said that it takes a month before she received her passport back when she submit it thru courrier.
I am going to Abu Dhabi Canada Embassy on Monday to submit my passport personally so i can get it back in the afternoon.

to those applicants in whos in dubai now...hi po kamustapo kayo? ask ko sana may present job kaba now jan sa dubai while waiting for visa result?kasi patapos na contract ko this october dito sa oman i want to go there sana para jan nlang mag wait ng result..tingingn mo should i apply for a work there hbang nag wait or mag tourist ako for 4 months?if may trabaho ka jan now? paano ka aalis sa work mo? or ipapasa yung passport mo if hingin ng embassy? alam ba sa work mo na nagapply ka?baka may alam ka pede ko aplyan na work jan na pede rin ako magresign agad if magaka visa na tayo.

If you want to go to Dubai to wait for your approval for Canadian visa / TWP you have to change your application address to Dubai from Oman. As far I am concerned find a job in Oman so once the visa is arrived in Oman you can directly go from there better than going to Dubai & going. Please don't make your application complicated or the process will delay. Please understand and read what I have mentioned in this email or in another forum.(Pre, sa susunod ipaliwanag mo ng mabuti para maintindihan ng iba.) ;D

Sad to say..mostly ng company dito..kinukuha passport ng mga employee nila..unless nalang ung ibang freezone...they want their employee to keep their own passport..like dun s company ng asawa ko...pero kung kailangan mo naman ..request lang ipapahiram naman nila syo..pero sa case ko..indi na hiningi ng visa office ung passport ..humingi lang sila ng photo copy plus the copy of my visa.april applicant din ako.

Oo nman... Sandali lang application ang matagal lang ay ung release,,inaabot sya ng 3 days pero for pick up lang.

good day guys... got my passport back last 18th of june with the visa stamped in it... i just have some few questions from filipinos who got their visa here in abudhabi.. do you think its a good idea to fly to canada from philippines instead of going off from uae??? thought about spending time with family b4 moving to canada.. please advise anybody ......

November batch po ako,My NOC 6641 CEM Abu dabhi,I got my passport request last JUne20,2013.
Umuwe na ko ng pinas last april 30, dahil end of contract na me.di na ko nag renew,, kace mahigpit sa company namen pag once na nag resign ka, di nila agad ibibigay passport.. gusto ko lang po itanung sa inyo at hingi ng advice, need ko po kace ma pa stamp ang passport ko sa may abu dabhi before july18.. pede ko po ba icourrier ang passport ko from phil to abu dabhi or pede po ba pag may frend ako sa dubai pede po ba cla mag pa aramex ng passport ko or talagang need ko bumalik ng dubai ..sana matulungan nyo ako.salamat

Hi, congratulations on your visa..... If you ask if it is possible to courier your passport from Phils to Abu Dhabi, yes it is possible BUT it might cause questions/suspicions to the Visa Officer giving the visa...... As per previous experience of a forum mate who has the same situation, he no longer renewed his contract but he came back to UAE as Visit Visa..... It might raise questions when you land in Canada passport control because your visa was issued in UAE but you left the country before you got your visa..... I cannot say for sure what will be the exact case but again, BETTER BE SAFE THAN SORRY..... Better be cautious, do not waste your visa for a little savings or comfort...... The decision is entirely yours..... Good luck!!!!
