@Jeace - as mentioned before the processing time is 7 Months unless you are under NOC O, A or B.
Since you submitted your application in January 2013 - expect a reply on July 2013 or August 2013.

Since I am based in AUH, I submitted PCC from UAE and Philippines (Green NBI).
I requested to waive the PCC from Saudi as the process is very long but I supported my request with the Saudi Final Exit Visa and the Saudi Exit Stamp.

If you are concern about the time to process then I suggest you start the PCC process now.

Dear All,

I am happy to advise that I have received my VISA APPROVAL TODAY.

My complete timeline:

12 Mar 2013 - PASSPORT RECEIVED with the VISA
10 Mar 2013 - VISA ISSUED
07 Mar 2013 - Received by Embassy as per the DHL Tracking
06 Mar 2013 - Submitted the additional Documents including the Passport
27 Feb 2013 - Received an email requesting for additional Documents (PCC, Updated Certificate of Employment)
12 Dec 2012 - submitted WP application personally at the Abu Dhabi Embassy (NOC 0114)
10 Dec 2012 - Docs completed.

Destination is TORONTO. All the best to all.

NOC is National Occupational Classification or your Job Descripton/Category according to Canadian Classification.

Dre, l read on the other forum they grant visa eventhough your present work is not related to the job that you were applied. (Insurance Coordinator applied for Food Counter Attendant and Visa was approved last August 2012) CEM Abu-Dhabi
