Work permit after LMIA (inside Canada)

How long does it take currently if you apply work permit through LMIA inside Canada? Online it shows 147 days but some people get it before that so just wondering.

First of all not guaranteed so if you are granted a WP expect a 4-6 month wait. Assume you are not from a visa exempt country. Do you have an education and work history that corresponds to the job that you are applying for in Canada? What type of job is it? There seems to be a bit more leniency fir some jobs.

I landed on a LMIA based work permit with my family who arrived on visit visa with me. My kids received acceptance to stay and attend school and I have received work permit to work wiith an employer I have applied LMIA. My wife didn’t receive anything yet.

Q1 - Any reason it is taking long to get a similar acceptance letter for my wife where as we all arrived at same time? Would she be getting work permit or temporary residence Visa?

Q2 - I have received closed work permit to work with a single employer. Am I allowed to work with another employer as well?

how old are your kids who got visit visa? did they get visitor record?
At the time of initial application which visa you applied for your wife and kids?
It should have been given to her at the same time though. Wondering how did you approach the application
