Work in Canada

Hello I have just recently sponsored my wife from the Philippines, and I’m wondering about the working situation for her once she has moved here to Canada,
About how long does it take before she is allowed to start working? and what kind of jobs would she be allowed to apply and work for?

So you have sponsored her through the spouse sponsorship program ? If yes then once she is approved and has landed in Canada, applied for a PR card and a SIN she can start work straight away. As a PR she could do any job she is qualified to apply for there is no restriction once a PR just needs a SIN.
