How important is one's work history/status when applying for citizenship? If one decides to change job, or go back to school, or simply take a year off to travel inside Canada, will that cause any trouble to the application?
I checked the current citizenship requirements, as well as the new bill C-24, and found no mention anywhere about work requirement, however I just wanted to be sure about this since there are few people who got RQed and were asked about their employment history/status.
Thanks
Vince
ps: I obtained PR under the international student stream, have stayed with the same employer for the last 3 years but am considering relocation.
