Couple of questions

1. Do the duration's of employment in the experience letter have to be precise to the date? Because while entering express entry details they only ask month and year. What if your employment ended one week short of an year, will you lose the point if you mention precise dates in the experience letter.

2. My entire employment was part-time (20 hours per week). In Canada is part-time 15 hours per week(?) Will my extra 5 hours per week be of any benefit when calculating the duration of employment.

Kindly let me know what you guys think.

2. If you've worked under 30 hours per week, you can count the individual hours. So if you were working 20 hours per week, you can count 20 hours of work experience each week.

the part time hours need to total minimum 1560 hours to equate to the 1 year experience so part time of course will take more than an actual calendar year

I have 2189 days (=312 weeks) of work experience at 20 hours/week

This is equal to roughly 6250 (312*20) hours of work.

And dividing that by 1520 (=52*30) I get close to 4 years of full time work experience

So essentially my 6 years of 20 hr/week part-time converts to 4 years of full time work experience.

Hopefully this is correct and maybe even helpful for others who have part-time work experience.
