WORK EXPERIENCE
For you and your spouse or common-law partner:
• notarized employment contracts from your present and past employers,
accompanied by an English or French translation
• Original and up-to-date letters of reference from your past and current employers.
Letters must be written on company letterhead and show the company's full
address, telephone and fax numbers, and be stamped with the company's official
seal.
Letters must include all of the following information:
• the specific period of your employment with the company
• the positions you have held during the period of employment and the time spent
in each position
• your main responsibilities in each position
• your total annual salary plus benefits
• the signature of your immediate supervisor or the personnel officer of the
company
• a business card of the person signing
If you cannot provide a reference from your current employer, provide a
written explanation.

1. What if I do not have the business card of the person signing my experience letter for rest of my work experiences ? Will they accept those work experiences or not ?

2. What if I just have the Experience certificate for some of the work experiences and not the notarized employment contracts ? Will they accept those work experiences or not ?

3. Do I also need to include letters of reference from my all employers? What if they are not available but I have the Work experience certificate?

4. Does the letter of reference mean that my manager is referring me to canada or what ?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
When I applied for PR, I didn't have employment contracts or business cards, only a letter from 2 of my employers stating that I had worked there for which period of time and that I did a good job. That is what you call a reference letter although they do say what detailed info they want in there. The business cards and contracts, I don't know if that is really necessary but try to get it if you can. Otherwise add a note with an explanation of what you couldn't get.

Does CIC verifies the work experiences by calling all the past and/or current employers and asking about the candidate ?

As far as I know, they never called the two that I put down. I was still working for one of them so I am sure he would have told me and I was doing on the side work still for the other one.

Leon How many years back did you process your PR?

I still need to know from candidates who have applied recntly or got PR recently that they sentd photocopies of their work experinces letters and did not have any problems ?

Also does the photocopies have to be attested ? And if so by whom ?

You have to read the instructions. It clearly specifies if you have to send original or photocopies. However, I believe it depends on the visa office you apply to.

By the way, where are you applying?
