Hi friends,

i'm have a peculiar question...

CIC is not giving us any points for spouse's work experience, then why does it ask for spouse's work experience related documents? If I don't send any documents relating to spouse's work-ex, what difference will it make?

The Word is "Adaptability":

That is true. But when you fill out her details on the necessary forms.
Say, if she is/was employed, you will say from XX.XX.XXXX to YY.YY.YYYY , isn't it? Then, of course, you will need to show proof of that, won't you?

As per my understanding, if you want a smooth immigration process, Anything you write and claim, you will have to prove it.

Remember that old adage about carpenters." Measure twice and saw(cut) only once"!!!

Hi Rupesh,

ThankU.That's better and makes sense.
So back to the question. Well the thing is this, if you write anything into the forms, then, you will need to prove it.
Again, it all depends on the IO, I guess. If he wants to see what you filled in the form then he may ask for documents to prove that.

Let's see what others have to say.

We were only asked to fill in my Wifes work experience on the application forms, that is a c.i.c requirement.
There was never any mention of work related documents.
You do need education documents for your spouse though, also a c.i.c requirement.

Dear All,

What I understand from the Visa office instructions i.e London office. If you are claiming adaptability points then there are points for spouse's degree only. There are no work experience points at all. So total points are 5.

When you fill the form regarding personal background you have to mention what you were doing since age 18! Here you need to give every details either you were studying or working! You can put down student and work experience. But at the end of the day the London Office only asked for the spouse educational documents and original transcripts in a sealed envelope! They never asked for any work experience docs for spouse as there are no points for them!

I am sure they are not even going to ask them in future as well or if interview is being called as you are not claiming any points for them!

Just they want to know your activity during that period! i.e for spouse only!

Please have a look at point no.6 and 7 page A-2 and A-3 for skilled workers London.

Cheers

That's right, because I read the instruction of London office as well.
Good. So, do exactly that. Read instructions of the visa office responsible for your application and give them what they want.
