hi I started working in Canada from 20th January 2020 and my company is allowing me to work till 15th January 2021(my work permit ends on 16th January 2021).

will this be considered as one year of work experience to apply for Canada express entry.

If OP's work permit expires the very day after they complete one year and become eligible to apply for PR, they won't be able to do so in time to maintain their status as a worker.

hi, thank you so much for your help, but I have question here, "they won't be able to do so in time to maintain their status as a worker". what is this mean? I cannot stay after 16th Jan 2021, my company will book tickets and send me to my country. I cannot extend my stay here.

please help with this

You can apply to extend your stay as a visitor. Your company cannot just force you to leave Canada.

I have another question, my visa ends on 5th Jan 2021, but work permit ends on 16th Jan 2021. can I stay till 16th Jan, even my visa get expired on 5th Jan?

Yes, the visa is only a travel document needed to enter Canada. You should apply to renew it but the important thing is to apply to change your status to visitor before January 16. Then you can apply for PR.

Well you could leave Canada and apply for PR from home, but I assumed you wanted to stay in Canada. If you don't then no need.
