Hi All,
We have recently received our PR Confirmation (family or 4 members), via the Quebec Skilled Workers program, the last date to enter Canada is for April 2024.
I have a few questions, I wish if you could support me with some answers:
1- I requested my initial CSQ more than 5 years ago, and my actual working field and experience are giving me more chances to get a job in other provinces (Alberta, for example).
Yes, i know if already declared my initial intention to settle in Quebec, but due to the long processing time things did change a lot recently.
Am I still legally obliged to only leave & work in Quebec, or after getting my PR card I'm free to settle my family in any province in Canada?
2- My CoPR document mentions that my destination province and city are respectively Quebec and Montreal, (without any other conditions).
If we plan to enter Quebec first (before April 2024), apply for our PR card, get it ready, and then move to leave in another province. is that legal? should that create any type of issue or complications when we are applying for our citizenship later on in Canada (outside of Quebec)?
3- If we enter Quebec, apply for our PR cards, stay for 1 or 2 weeks, and then leave Canada (will arrange for the PRs card to be delivered to a friend in Quebec and then send to us aboard).
Are we able to legally enter Canada (with our PR cards in our hands) and settle our life in any Canadian province? should this create any complications while we are applying for citizenship later on in Canada?
Thanks a lot in advance,
