Sorry for the silly question, but can you please tell me what do you mean by ghost update?
Next step might be interview invitation. But that might take sometime due to COVID-19 pandemic.

A ghost update is when it says "application updated" on your CIC portal but there are no new updates when you open it. It usually happens when an officer opens your file to view it.
Thanks for the info, I remember before biometric instruction letter i received a mail stated that there is an update on my application but when I looked into the CIC GC-Key login application, there was no update.
