I had an admission offer from a UK university but I unfortunately missed it because of the delay caused by IRCC Canada. The UK government website give an expected study visa processing time of 3 weeks which can be shortened to 1 week if you pay extra fee.

Why didn't you apply there??and what do you expect to gain from complaining?

Heard that if any applicant has master's degree from back home and they applied for another master, then the visa chances are very low? Is there any truth to that?

Yes but if you can explain your situation and convince them that the course you have taken will benefit you, you can get visa and i think this guy samad already got his visa

Everyone is paying huge amounts of money to study here doesn't make you special and its not me that has an inferiority complex its you that has no patience i also wasted 14 months on visa processing but you dont see me being a crybaby about it you are just frustrated which is understandable but so is everyone else you want to apply somewhere else? Go ahead i hope you get visa but you really dont have any patience complaining about your application while everyone else is also on the same boat makes you look like an idiot you are not special you wont be getting any preferential treatment stop complaining start applying is other countries that you want you really think under these circumstances they will give you visa really fast?

What we do not understand the process correctly is, there are 100 of different agencies department involved from the time you apply online and get response. Most of the background checks are done by 3rd party agencies with several countries and it’s up to them to take as much as time to get it done. Applying and studying in Canada is not right but it is privilege. The whole world is shut down these days and we all know the situation what is happening worldwide. Govt. of Canada have a lot in their plates right now and but to worry about immigration. There are several updates and tweets by IRCC where they are telling everyone sit tight the process will going to take longer than avg processing time. Speaking of avg processing time which is by the way based on 80% applications. Processing times are only for educational purpose and not guaranteed.

Dude whats ur problem? Are you some kind of an agent or consultant that deals in Canadian immigration/study? I dont get why you are so offendedby my complaint. Yes I'm complaining because I paid good money and put in a lot of effort and missed a lot of other opportunities. But what is your issue? Im not asking for special treatment. I was only expecting IRCC to keep to their given processing time of 10 weeks and not take 20+ weeks to come to a decision.

If there are others out there who have been delayed this many weeks then they should also speak out against this behaviour. Still dont get what you issue is if someone has a genuine complaint against IRCC

FYI I have already asked them to Withdraw my application as I Do NOT intent to go to Canada any longer. And im just sharing my experience here. There is nothing to be gained from this except for letting others know how my experience has been with the whole process. Lets just end it there please stay out of this.

i am not gonna stay out of this because i have every right to reply to your baseless complain how do you expect them to complete your processing on time under these circumstances ? i am not offended i am just amazed at your thought process how can someone be so impatient?you dont make any sense when you say i paid good money i deserve preferential treatment even though there is worldwide pandemic going on. You know what sounds like? you sound entitled and you dont need to be agent or consultant to realize thats a selfish thing to do

well some people still want VO's to give their application priority because they paid GOOD MONEY for it as if other applicants that are waiting patiently did not pay good money and there isn't a worldwide pandemic going on just pure entitlement

Hello, i’ve got my offer letter from George Brown College. I’m confused whether i apply for a visa after my acceptance (from college) or not because a friend of mine told me that they aren’t granting visas for a while due to COVID-19. Can anybody guide me what should i do now ??
