hi guys! i am also bound for manitoba and i am planning to go there this june. just started processing my crne papers this march. my experience is just a year plus and no master's degree. with this background, i think they will recommend that i must take CCA before i am eligible to take crne according to the threads i have read here. been searching for feedbacks regarding cca, all i heard that it was hard but haven't heard what its really like. so if anyone was already finished with cca, please do share how was it for you guys? need help how to prepare for it...

to RENE and KIMWAYNE: are you guys from davao? because i've read you mentioned davao and ncrc. did you enrol at their crne advance class and SEC tutorial class? how was it? are they worth it?

Count me in! Chris, nice to see you here! It's been a long time!. How's life in Canada? Are you in Winnipeg now?

well i dont know too, despite, i have the same IQAS assessment with Aspire. They just mailed me that my education transcript is unclear.
Pinag undergo ka pala nila ng SEC? Pano nangyari yon parehas lang naman tayo ng IQAS assessment? Sa school kaya kung saan nakuha ang BSN degree or experience? Nasa Winnipeg ka ngayon?

Please aspire kindly write in English as I would like to learn from wat you ve written.

Thank-you.

Pentouch,

So,sorry for that. I was actually asking Chirsdalop why he was asked to undergo SEC (education bridging program) despite having the same IQAS assessment as mine. We both applied to the same nursing regulating body (College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba), both finished Bachelors degree in Nursing from Philippines, but I was given the eligibility to wirte the nursing licensure exam without being asked to undergo any bridging programs. I feel so sad about that because I was influencial to Chris's decision to consider Manitoba because they used to give full credit to the nursing degree from Philippines unlike Toronto. I do not know why he was asked to undergo SEC while I was not.

Hi Aspire!

My brother is working as part time in Grace Hospital in Winnipeg as a lab tech. Good luck and you'll be landing to Manitoba very soon! In our case, it's almost 12 months since we receive our 2nd AOR but up to now we didn't receive our medical request.

I would like to ask your help how to apply for assessment of papers for registered nurses. What papers do I need to submit when and where? Do I need to start now? I just hope I'll not have any bridging program anymore. Can you pls guide me?

Maraming salamat po!

Roch

Glad to hear I will be working soon with a brother of a forum mate here. Do not worry, you will soon receive your medical request.
If you plan to get registration from the province of manitoba you need to have your educational credentials assessed by IQAS:

http://employment.alberta.ca/immigration/4512.html

List of requirements and detailed steps on how to register in the province of Manitoba can be found in this link:

http://www.crnm.mb.ca/applicants-international.php

Read the guidelines thoroughly, then ask questions if you have any doubts in this forum. God Bless.
