Hello chinay, i am also interested to settle in manitoba. Still waiting for PPR. Im also a registered nurse dito sa phil. but with no experience. Have you started with your eligility process? Wala din ako relatives sa manitoba, not even friends, but same with you I also like manitoba. :) :) :)

Hi, just a newbie here. Just sent application to CIC this year. Just wanna know, do you really have to attend that training in Manitoba Nurses Union before you can apply for the licensing exam? And can you apply for reciprocity if you want to transfer province someday?

Hello people,

It's been a long time since I visited this forum. I landed here in Winnipeg with my family last June 26, 2011. For the longest time I was in this forum in behalf of my wife who is now a Manitoba Registered Nurse and is currently working at Grace Hospital here in Winnipeg. I just got a full time job working as Assistant Maintenance Manager in one of the hotels here in Winnipeg. Though Winnipeg is branded as the crime capital of Canada by some, but for me, this is a very nice place. Just make sure you will be in a good neighborhood in deciding which place to buy a house or rent an apartment. I will be glad to answer the best i could for any questions regarding settlement here in Manitoba.

Good day everyone,
Being searching for a group like this for a while now,so glad i found you guys. I applied under the FSW1 and currently have my visa.I plan on landing in winnipeg manitoba later this month. Please i need to ask some questions.

1) Is manitoba a nice place for a foreign trained doctor to move to?

2) I know about registering with the PCRC, but i have heard about their fast track program. can anyone please shed more light on it for me.

3) I know i cannot get a doctor job without passing the required exams but is there any medical related survivor jobs i can be doing before then?

Eagerly waiting for your response and thanks in advance.
