You need to have a sponsor for the Adaptability category, either a close relative or a friend who can submit the Settlement Plan 2. :)

Hi,
I applied for MPNP on 21 april 2013 by using online application, they gave me the file number after 48 hr. Than in sept 2013 MPNP asked me 2 more documents which was my university degree and 3 month old bank statement. After that they haven't contact me. My question is MPNP takes how much to process the application. and also can any one guide how i can check my application status on this stage.
thanks

Hi there. Brand new to this site. I'm trying to get my husband to Canada from Jamaica. He is a plumber by trade, but he's had to work as a security guard primarily since graduating from trade school since 1995 or so. He doesn't have a resume that reflects his training, although he does volunteer and do small paid jobs as often as he can. Is there anyone else here who's had this challenge? Thanks. J.

hi everyone,

may i just ask why is st. luke's global city not included in the panel physician's list approved by the CIC? though that's the case why is it ok to still have medical exams in slec global city?

Good question, I think this is considered the 'extension' of SLEC. People who had their medicals at Global have been receiving visas. And I heard it is so much quicker and less hassle there, plus the results are also submitted faster.

Friends - I have 1 question & need your guidance. After the Sponsor Interview, does MPNP confirm the Decision of application over the phone or we have to wait for the snail mail which takes around 20 days?
Plz let me know at the earliest.

No decision is given over the phone. You wait for a snail mail.

Yup, hehehe Manitoba for instance is already the top destination of most most Filipinos in Canada.

Soon, Canada will have so much Filipinos like the Mexicans in the US. :P :P :P

just to be sure, you can send an update of information to MPNP ( immigratemanitoba@gov.mb.ca. ) ,just my opinion though. but its better to follow what they requested to avoid any further discussions.

Seriously? Hahaha

Hmmm, I wonder if it's a residential area? :P :P :P

I see that you are starting to learn more about your new home. huhuhu No PPR yet... I am checking obsessively 3-4x a day.

I agree with ramcal, ohanne. Just do the same, to avoid any further discussions. This is just Manitoba's way to reassure themselves that you are really planning to immigrate in Manitoba and not another province.

yes, its a residential area and its not only a small area but a long street. near that street is Manila road..

..We are now on the point of understanding the Winnipeg Way of Life through internet. i am also hoping that all our forum mates will also start doing a little bit of research because all information can be seen and learned just by browsing.

..for your visa, as ive said, you will land ahead of us. so, please dont forget to share your landing experience when you get there. :)
