What an interesting read on your blog, in my opinion I think you write very well, you should look into blogging :):). I really welcome the idea of attending such seminars, do you know if they organise something similar in the UK? Would be nice to attend one of these. I'm pretty sure you will have your visa soon, all the best Tabs.

Thanks Naturals for your compliment. Yes, they also have seminars in the UK. Once you receive your MR, you will have an invitation or link to join a seminar with them.

hi gbboi,

you can go to this link .... go to the Fee Schedule

Immigration Cost Recovery Fees
(in effect as of November 13)
I. Permanent Resident Applications

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/philippines/visas/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng#schedule

..i used bank draft for both my pf and rprf. i think its better if you will use managers cheque for rprf cause the leadtime is around 3-5days. but if you like to use the drop box, i think you need to wait for the MR first and the actual rprf request through email.

..i dont know if there will be an effect if you can do the drop box without having any request yet.

You also need to get a police clearance for your spouse and any independent aged 18 and above.

Hi Ramcal and housemates.

I know that CIIP and COA is a must and noted upon recieving MR that we need to attend seminars. It is possible to attend for us for my family of 4 since my wife is OFW from Kuwait and she is vacation on March and target month to fly and thats the time we need to attend seminars for my family before we leave?
I am facing PPR 50days since medical done since Nov25 2013.
Please advise if not attending that seminars since MR issued can delay our visa application.?

Do you have tel Number from CIIP to reserve for the month of March.

Regards

Hi munde,

Its a must but it is not a requirement. Not attending this seminar will not in any way affect/delay your visa application :)

for your other concerns, you can just ask the ff personnel. they are in the best position to respond to your queries..

1. for CIIP, you can send an email to Ms. Precious Cruz <pcruz@ciip-accc.ph>

2. for COA, you can send an email to Ms. Kathy Jane S. VERGARA (Ms.), Sr. Administrative Program Assistant, Canadian Orientation Abroad, Office : +63 2 230 1760, Mobile: +63 2 917 568 4868

good luck :)

Hello:

Should i send original LOA letter with my complete application letter to CIC or i should send copy/photocopy of LOA letter with the complete application letter to CIC.

Because in CIC application's document check list pdf file, its mention to sent copy of LOA letter but in LOA letter its written to send original LOA letter with the complete application letter to CIC.

I have been answering this question quite a lot now. People have been asking this, I always says that both are fine. Because some people here sent the originals and some only sent copies and both procedures were okay. All applicants who did so already have visas.

I myself sent only a copy because I followed the CIC requirements, end of the day, ask yourself: Who will receive my application? CIC or MPNP? As CIC will receive it, then CIC regulations are more important. Besides, I wanted to keep the original copy of my LOA. It's an accomplishment.
