yeah that is true , i have been trying for a few days at different times but it does not go through, good luck to all of us,
I just tried again today and they told me the same thing... they are not giving out any information on applications status... It seems that now the call centre has become obsolete, there is no need for them as this is their main task.

I don`t know what to do or where to turn....

Nobody seems to help me to obtain any information on my application. I wonder if I should consult with my MP...

I believe meeting your MP would not hurt, I have read different opinions on the forum some say it does help some say it does not , but if you go and meet your MP , you might get some peace of mind, good luck to all of us amen,

I just concerning about my application status on e-cas online.

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 12, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 20, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on February 23, 2015.

Your file was transferred to the Winnipeg Citizenship Operations office on May 11, 2015. The Winnipeg Citizenship Operations office will contact you.

but now e-cas online didn't show up "Your file was transferred to the Winnipeg Citizenship Operations office on May 11, 2015. The Winnipeg

Citizenship Operations office will contact you."

Does anyone know this happening ? >:(

Thank you.

Yes get ready for test, you would get around 20 -30 days to studies, worst even one week, so gear up, have Discover Canada in your hand/lap now. 8)

I hope to take test as soon as possible.

Transfer to local office line is back on e-cas online...

I heard that wait minimum 5-6 months to take a test :-[

Hello Friends!

I finally took the Oath of Citizenship today at the Union Station. It was a very nice and solemn ceremony. I am so relieved that its all over. It took a total of 15 months to process my citizenship!

I hope all of you also get yours soon.

Good luck and God bless!

Congratulations!

My ecas status had 4 lines - the last line said "your file has been transferred to winnipeg office on March 6, winnipeg office may contact you".
Today, the 4th line has disappeared. There are now 3 lines - the third line is same as before - "you started your processing on March 3".
what does this mean? any experiences like this anyone? any guesses?
thank you

Hi, Winnipeg 2015,

Mine changed too. Please review the thread "LOT line disappeared", lots of people had this. So, dont worry.

Just some update on my test.
The test was quick and easy, highly recommended to read the book, dont rely on the online practice.
The meeting with officer was smooth as well, checked the original documents and travel records and answered questions.

The local office is speeding up for sure. Hanging there my friends.

Hello Ynany

Im getting pretty antsy right now...

My application was received 1 year ago, since then, I have not had any communication form CIC (With the exception of AOR)...
Call centre won't take my calls, ECAS doesn't work, Call centre won't assist with ECAS problem...

I applied for ATIP again, I just don't know what to do anymore... :(

Hello everyone,

I am a Winnipeg applicant and would like to share my timeline (as it appears on my ecas) with you:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 29, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 4, 2015.
We started processing your application on March 13, 2015.
We sent you a notice on June 12, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on July 7, 2015 at 10:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

The fourth line used to be "you application was sent to your local office in Winnipeg on March 25, 2015 ...." but was recently replaced by the test notice statement.

I'll have to get ready for the test ...
