I attended my oath of citizenship yesterday there were 80 attendees. We lined up 30min before the time that was written in the invitation. They check for the invitation letter, the paper that you need to sign, and PR card which was not returned. The ceremony was great and full of energy, but I noticed that after handing out the certificates you must sign again on the same doc that you signed upon checking in. Last year I attended a ceremony they just handed out the certificates no signing after that. Maybe its about the confirmation that you are confirming that you sworn the oath. the ceremony is about an hour and half or almost 2hours if you want to take pictures with the judge and your family. Its an event full of happiness and gratitude to the country we chose to live in.

So we did our test and interview yesterday. We did pass and were greeted by 2 wonderful agents (who handled the test centre) and put everyone there nerves to rest and made for an awesome experience.
Warning------If you don't study the book you received, you wont pass the test. Read it through from front to end as many times as possible. Questions are asked randomly right through the book.

The agent that did our interview was thorough and yet treated us respectfully and welcoming.

We were told that the Oath can take 4 to 6 months because of many applications.

Over all we had a great experience. :D ;D :D

i applied for FSW2014 for NOC1111 on 1st dec. but updates till date
Buddy, you are not only in the wrong thread, but in the wrong category entirely...

This is for Canadian Citizenship. As you are applying for FSW, you should seek a thread that deals with that information.

give her pig!
