for USA, yes. I did attach FBI letter. I have nexus card as well, may be that is the reason I did not receive any fingerprint...but its purely guesswork at this point.

Is there any pattern as such? Criminality delayed for the one's with police clearance requirement...

I know a friend who applied in Nov 2020 with similar situation, got his BG completed.

Well, that's what I am trying to find out. Criminality is supposed to be pretty straightforward and quick. Security is supposed to take a while. However, what's happening now is the polar opposite.

Not sure why criminality is "In Progress" for a lot of people for such a long time.

A confusing processing speed at windsor. I dont know what to believe - Either they are working or they are not working.

Seeing quick timeline for one member which we havent seen any update for 2020 applicant till now. Will wait and watch.

My background checks were completed on Mar 9th and Police checks were completed somewhere in the 2nd week of February as per my GCMS notes.

I only submitted my police certificates based on my address history during the PR application. I am not sure if those play part during citizenship application as this is a separate application and new checks are completed for this.

My wife got the test invite on May 21, 2021 and she passed the test yesterday June 7, 2021. She’s a single applicant from Windsor Ontario. Never left Canada since arrival.

Her application was received on July 30, 2020.

I truly hope good things happen to everyone as well, just wanted to update you guys. Good luck

My application was received on April 4th 2020, Still didn't receive any test invite. I am not sure how they prioritize the applications.

You need to have a good laptop camera to take the picture of you and a photo ID. Please check your laptop camera before starting the test.

I saw someone from Feb 2020 received test invite yesterday. I'm assuming things are moving towards 2020. You can expect invite soon hopefully, @harirajmohan, you too buddy!

My citizenship test was updated online today and my test is scheduled to write between. Jun 18th to Jul 8th.
But I didn't receive any test invite email. Is this normal?

Yes same here for me too on the test related information updated today for me online - same time window. They will send it closed to 18th. Doesnt matter if email comes, we just need to attend within that time window.

Yes. You'll receive an email close to the day of the test.
